I don't usually use this blog as an outlet for my own thoughts, but tonight I need an outlet. It is February in Oregon and that means the long winter is starting to get to me. We have had some really nice, beautiful days but they are only a memory as I look out the window at gray skies that threaten snow. I am sick, sick, sick of the snow. I am also feeling a little bit jealous of several family and friends that are vacation bound. Vacations mean sun and lots of fun....
My parents=Jamaica
My brother and his wife=Mexico
Our best neighbors=Mexico
Jeff=Australia
Me=Stuck in Oregon.
Bummer.

I'm so so sorry :( You need a break! I wish you were going with us to Mexico. Someday we will go on a trip together. No kids, no husbands, noboday calling about church, just the girls. Let's plan it.
Let's go do something while we are stuck here freezing our butts off. Breakfast again? Lunch? Movie night? Let's do something to kill the time. I am with you on the snow thing. I don't think I have ever in my life seen so much snow in Oregon. Weird. Feel better soon, Cia. PS...THANK YOU FOR THE BIRTHDAY GIFT. You could not have bestowed it upon a more grateful recipient.
Well that really makes me want to jump on the plane and come right over! Good thing I already booked my flight- maybe you will get lucky and I will bring the Arizona sunshine with me! Plus we are going to have a TON of fun when I get there just hang tight for a little longer.
P.S. I am a little jealous of all the warm vacations too.
i'm so sorry! just a few weeks and you will be in az! az in march can easily be 90 degrees..at least parts of az!lol

check us out! tell those cute kids hi. and remember...summer will come at some point. just go shopping and eat chocolate...love ya!!
I told Jeff he should have brought you with him!!!! Thanks for lending Sydney your husband, he brought the sun with him we have had two weeks of rain but the morning he arrived the sun came out and so far it has stayed! It was lovely having him with us. It brought back so many travelling memories!! But I must admit as we dropped him off at the hotel I too was feeling jealous, he was off to the US, my parents left for Argentina the day after and my sister leaves for the Hunter Valley tomorrow. I need a holiday too!!! Maybe we can have a house swap like on the movie 'The Holiday' with Cameron Diaz.. he he you can have the sunshine and beaches we can have the snow and skiing! Its funny that we want what we don’t have! Hope you enjoy your Tim Tams and having your husband home! I’ve organised it with customs here, Jeff is not allowed back in the country without you and the kids! :)xx Ali
