Presley turns Seven...and is in birthday heaven!

Every year the kids get a birthday sign waiting for them when they come down to breakfast. This year Presley requested pancakes with strawberries and whipped cream for the first meal of her seventh year.

Presley couldn't wait to be seven. She was a very happy girl!

A smile and two hands full of cash...that's what makes this girl happy!

Even Stratton agreed to give Presley a kiss because it was her special day. She couldn't believe that he actually kissed her...here's the proof!

Arrggg...I can't figure out how to rotate this video. Enjoy it sideways!

Finally, Presley gets to have a friend party

Here are the cute girls that came to help Presley celebrate her big day!

Presley and Brooke. These two girls became fast friends this year in 1st grade!

Presley and her buddie, Jayda, enjoying some of their birthday cupcakes.

Presley had her birthday party at Ceramicafe this year. The girls had a great time painting their choice of pottery while singing along to High School Musical. It was a lot of fun...and an easy party for me! :)

Another Snow Day!

Stratton found a pile of rocks and declaired himself "King of the Mountain"!

Cas decided to try sledding down a pile of dirt that is from the house being built behind ours. It was a bit dangerous as she had to move boards full of nails before making the run! It wasn't a very long hill but it was pretty fast. I let her go down a couple of times and then decided that sledding in a construction zone wasn't the safest thing so we went back to playing in our cul-de-sac!

Presley spent a long time this day working on a snow fort on the front lawn. We all got into helping...even Stratton. He used his Tonka Dump Truck to bring us loads of snow. It was fun for a little while, but we didn't get the fort very big because we decided snow ball fights were much more fun!

Stratton & Dane

This is Dane (with the guitar) and Stratton. These two boys have been buddies since we moved here. They went through Nursery together and even managed to "graduate" to Sunbeams. They are six months apart in age, Stratton being older, but they are the same size and both have that cute blonde hair. This picture was taken last week when Dane came over to play. The boys came down from the playroom like this and were sure acting cool. I just had to take a picture of the two! We are really sad because Dane and his family are moving soon to Tennessee. I will miss Dane calling me "Momma Cia". We're going to miss the Sorensen family a ton...they have been great friends. At least now we can have a reason to go visit Tennessee!
