Most of my posts are about the kids, what they are doing and such. However, today is a special day because this post is dedicated to my banjo playing, cloud loving friend--H.T. When I was in Arizona I promised her that I would take some pictures of some really great clouds because in Oregon I haven't seen too many great clouds...just gray sky. So, enjoy H.T.--these clouds are just for you!

Hold on Summer...we're not done yet!
The weather this week has resembled the weather we get in October a little too much for my liking. However, on Tuesday there was a slight break in the rain and we took advantage of it by going to Oaks Park with our best neighbors: Stephanie, Bryce & Kara. Oaks Park is an amusement park that would remind you of the carnivals that come during county fair time. However, Oaks Park stays there all year though. The kids hadn't been to Oaks Park before and thought that it was great fun. The one downer for the day was when Cas got booted from riding the only decent roller coaster there because she wasn't tall enough. She was disgusted by it all! She couldn't believe that she was able to ride California Screamin' but not this little one looper. Oh well, there were other rides that she liked. It was a super fun time!

One last trip to the zoo!
Our kids don't start school until September 2nd, so we are still enjoying what is left of our summer vacation! Here are some pictures that we took while on a trip to the Portland Zoo. We went with our friends- Julie, Olivia and Ava. The zoo was fun, Stratton loved the train ride down the hill to the Rose Gardens, and the kids had fun playing at the park there.

We're back!
Our trip to Arizona was a lot of fun. The kids were spoiled rotten, which it just the way they like it! We did a lot of fun things while we were there including: a slip-n-slide competition, camping for five days, four wheeler rides, a visit to the old court house, horseback riding, family barbeques, a weekend in Phoenix, and the Diamondback baseball game. It was great to be able to see lots of family while we were "home". We wish that we were all together more often! Thanks for three weeks full of fun and memories. We love you guys.
